It’s 3:00 in the afternoon on my first full day on the ship. Everything so far has been awesome. Yesterday we got moved in and had to do the emergency drill. I didn’t sleep much on the planes so I couldn’t wait to take a nap. I slept for a couple of hours after the drill then we had dinner. The food was great and our servers are cool. Dinner started with only 5 of the 10 of us, the rest were sleeping. About an hour into dinner 4 more showed up confused about time zones, it was pretty funny. By the time dinner was over we were all pretty tipsy and ready to explore. We wandered all over the boat, through the casino and every one of the bars, and eventually ended up hot tubbing till 3 ish. Great night.
Today has been great so far too. Slept in, met everyone for breakfast/lunch, and we have all just been hanging out by the pool since then. Duncan has been on the lacrosse team since freshman year, and has never been on spring break until now. Consequently, he’s trying to make up for lost time and hasn’t been sober since yesterday afternoon. We just dared him to put on the emergency life vest and take a swim, needless to say he obliged.
Everyone is currently by the pool, but the sun isn’t out so I’m gonna hit up the gym and then go back out.
O, and I have signed up for a dive trip in Grand Caymen for the morning of my birthday – more information to come.
Also, I can't seem to upload pictures for some reason, I'll see what I can do about that later.Until next time,

Sounds like you're off to a great start ~ keep an eye on Duncan and his life vest as they BOTH could come in handy at a later date! I also HOPE that there were photos taken of the big swim and you'll be able to figure out how to post the photos. In the meantime, I'll check flickr for photos. By the way, how's the knee? Dad says he wishes we were there with you ~ he just KNOWS we'd fit right in! Waiting with baited breath for the next posting ~~~~ (this is our first blogging experience and we like it so far!)
I already left a comment, but didn't think it actually worked so I went back and checked and I was right... SO, this is what I said... have so much fun tomorrow morning on your dive!! That sounds amazing! I'm with your mom- I wish you could post the pictures too, but I guess I'll see them when we're back in Boulder. I left New York today, but I did get to go to a yoga studio in the middle of Times Square today... very cool! Happy Early 21st Birthday!! Can't wait to celebrate back in Boulder!

I'm glad you're having such a good time!!... just remember, no matter how many drinks you have- it is NEVER a good idea to jump or flip off of the moving boat to prove to your friends that you actually CAN do it!!.... and no testing out life jackets by jumping into the water and seeing if they work!!... i am SURE that they work!! haha--- Hope you're having a blast, even though i Know you are!!~ if you couldn't tell I'm pretty bored right now in English class, hence my rambling/random post!! and as mom says, I have to admit, I, too, am waiting with "BAITED BREATH" -- (Good one mom : ) ) haha.... love you!! have fun!!
